TUMS is fully accredited by the Texas Alliance of Accredited Private Schools (TAAPS), and TAAPS is under the auspice of the Texas Education Agency (TEA). All accreditation standards and expectations are determined by the Agency.

At Trinity United Methodist School (TUMS), we believe each child must understand the environment in which he/she lives and be given the proper tools to pursue the quest for knowledge. God’s unique plan for each child guides us in creating a learning environment that is conducive to the development of responsible citizens who are conscious of God's role in their life.
Learning occurs best in an environment that allows children to take chances. When children feel that they can trust their teachers to give them positive guidance, encouragement, and support, a thirst for education will always follow.
